AU 2018 - Go Vote NOW for your favorite classes

Busy, busy, busy, my life for the past 12 months.  Being full time on a project running 3D MEPFP coordination, an extremely fast paced project, really keeps a person away from things like a blog :)

But, something good will hopefully come out of it!  This is where you come in.  With the work I've been doing, I submitted a class to to present at Autodesk University 2018 this coming November (2018) in Las Vegas (USA).

Autodesk University (AU) Virtual 2011

As much everyone would like to go to Las Vegas in 2 weeks, many of you do not have the opportunity.  Budget limitations and work demands will keep you from attending the Autodesk University in Las Vegas.  To expand the audience and make Autodesk University more accessible to a greater number of people the Autodesk created AU Virtual.  This year AU Virtual is offered at no charge to all AU Members (Membership is free).  If you’re not an AU Member, you can register HERE.

With AU Virtual, you can choose from 100’s of online virtual sessions directly from your desktop.

Registration begins November 15.

After the event, AU Virtual classes will continue to be available on the AU website.  So if a “fire” needs attention and you can’t watch the Virtual event you wanted, you can go back and still get the information you wanted.

Voting for Autodesk University 2010 Classes Now Open

Voting is now open to the public for classes submitted for Autodesk University 2010.  I threw together a class about how to utilize the exportable XML files in Navisworks to share between projects and co-workers.  If you are thinking about attending and would like to attend (potentially) this class, please log-in to the following site and VOTE for my class – Transferring Project Standards in Navisworks!

To vote for classes (and not just mine, pick your favorite classes!!):

1. Go to Autodesk University Class Voting
2. Sign in to the AU website using your AU username and password. This is the same account you use to access AU online classes, and register for the AU conference or AU Virtual.
3. Search through the class proposal list. You can filter by track, audience expertise, class type, software product, language, keywords and speaker.
4. Click on a class to get more information about the class or to vote for the class.
5. Respond to all three (3) questions in order for your vote to register.
6. Click Add Comments to insert comments about the class for the Track Manager.
7. Once you have completed your comments and answered all three questions, click Submit Vote.

Voting ends Friday, May 21.
